The library works with a closed character.ai API, with each version covering more functionality

Why Playwright?

The library uses Playwright to receive and send data to the server

Work via requests or httpx is not possible, since the site requests javascript and cookies

Therefore, Playwright was chosen, which bypasses this

When the official API?

One of the developers answered this question in the official discord server

Maybe the opinion of the developers has changed, but in my opinion there will be no public API as long as there are problems with waiting rooms, because with the API the site will have more load

Also, developers will not want to make a public API at all due to the fact that too realistic bots may appear
